Core content is taught explicitly from the syllabus, with scaffolds and worked examples, before the student applies it independently. Tutor input reduces as confidence builds.

Founded by two educators who wanted tutoring done properly
A Head of English with fifteen years of Band 6 results, and a Head of Maths who is also a Registered Psychologist. Ada & Woolf began with their belief that every student deserves a strategic education plan made for them — and our space, method and portal were built around it.

The Term Package
one tutor, one term, one clear plan
A weekly 50-minute session
One session per week across a full nine-week term — the minimum commitment. Every session follows the Ada & Woolf structure, guided by each student’s personalised Student Planner.
Head Tutors & specialist tutors
Work with our Heads of English and Maths tutoring, or a specialist tutor matched to your child. Initial trial sessions are available before committing to the term. Session fees on enquiry, plus GST.
In person & online
In person at the Forum Workspace, Double Bay — or online via Google Meet, wherever you are. Additional sessions before exams and through the holidays are available at the same rates.
Simple, transparent terms
Term invoices are issued at the start of term and due within seven days. One reschedule per term with 24+ hours’ notice, subject to tutor availability.
